I have worked in various industries, such as, factories, paper mills, mines, private sector, consulting and corporate.

What I have learnt and discovered throughout the different industries I have worked in and with, is that there exists different cultures in the different industries and sectors.

This I only came to realise later in life, when I reflected back on my “working life” journey.

I have been in management positions within different industries, I have led various teams to be motivated, committed, productive, successful, profitable and independent.

I always work from a principle of leading a team and not managing a team, as I have discovered that success comes from enablement, not control.

While working in corporate, I have been fortunate to be exposed to a coaching program, that changed and enhanced my life-journey.

I then decided to pursue a certification in coaching and became an accredited Life Coach.

While being in corporate, I got involved with group and individual coaching on certain internal personal development programs. 

Later on, I have been given the “problematic or difficult” individuals to coach due to the impact my way of coaching had on “these types of individuals”.

This success I tribute to the exposure I had in the different industries and “cultures” within where I have worked before, and the people skills, knowledge and understanding I have gained in these environments.

I have learned throughout my working career and coaching interventions, that you cannot help or change someone.

The only thing you can do, is to enable someone to create the change they want for themselves within for themselves.
