About Joe
A personal approach to meaningful change
I am Joe Trytsman, founder of New Awareness.
Since 2012, I have worked with individuals and businesses who are ready to examine their lives and circumstances honestly and move towards deliberate change.
I am a certified life coach, having a registered coaching certification with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). My clients are based locally and internationally, and I work both in person and online.
But qualifications alone do not define my work.
What matters most, is how I engage with the person sitting in front of me.
Why I do this work
For me, this is more than a profession.
It is an opportunity to serve and facilitate change at a specific moment in someone’s life – a moment when they are ready to grow, change, or see themselves differently.
I do not fix people. I guide them when they are ready to change.
My reward lies in witnessing someone moving from limitation to possibility, from avoidance to responsibility, and from self-doubt to deliberate action.
My philosophy
Many coaching models and approaches follow a model.
I do not.
My experience has shown me that real change does not happen through applying a standard template.
Every individual is unique. Every life context is different. Every starting point requires a fresh perspective.
That is why I approach every client according to who they are, and not as a case.
I do not apply formulas. I am interested in understanding who you are, where you are, and what you are willing to change.

Coaching, not therapy
People often confuse coaching with psychology or counselling.
Psychology generally looks at what happened in the past and why it affects you. Counselling often focuses on empathy and guidance.
Coaching focuses on your current situation and what you are willing to do moving forward.
We do not dwell on what went wrong.
We focus on what you can change.
Who I work with
I work with individuals facing:
Personal, career or business challenges
Emotional exhaustion or discouragement
Chronic or terminal illness
A sense of being stuck or overwhelmed
A need to grow and move forward
A conversation, not a commitment
The first step is simply a conversation – what I like to call a coffee session.
